Getting a card, renewing materials, placing holds, etc.
Who can get a card
Any Maryville District patron ages 5 and up. Anyone under 18 years of age requires a parent's signature.

Bring a photo ID and utility bill with current address to the library.
Complete a library registration form.
Borrowing Limits

Audio books 5
Videos/DVDs 6
Books remainder up to 10(Total)
Placing Holds
You may place holds by using our online catalog or by calling or visiting our library.
Renewing Your Borrowed Items
Items may be renewed by using our online catalog or by calling or visiting our library. If an item has a hold on it, it will not be renewable.
Library Fines
It will cost you $.10 a day for each item that is overdue. Three notices will be sent weekly before an item goes to billing. After four weeks, this bill will be sent. Three weeks will be allowed for payment. If payment is not made or the items are not returned it will be sent to a collection agency which will include a $20.00 fee.
Services
Copies – Library staff will make b&w copies for $.25 & color copies for $.50
Faxes – Cover sheet is free. $1.00 for the first page and $.50 for each subsequent page
Notary – A staff member will provide Notary Public services upon request.
