Summer Reading Program (Registration Form)

2010 Summer Reading Program – Scare up a Good Book

Have a monstrously good time when you sign up for our children’s Summer Reading Program at Maryville Community Library. The reading program is designed to encourage kids ages 5 and up to read over the summer months.  This year’s program will begin on June 2nd and end on July 7th.  We will meet for six weeks on Wednesday mornings from 10:30-11:30. It is not necessary to be at the library each week, but come when you can to join in all the fun. Family friendly entertainment each week of the program! Performers will include storytellers, animal handlers, musicians, clowns and others.

Read (or listen) throughout the week and color in a circle on your reading log for every 10 minutes you’ve read.  Once you’ve read for 60 minutes bring your reading log to the weekly meeting to turn in for prize tickets. The tickets are put in containers of your choice for a chance at great prizes.  (Reading logs may only be turned in at our Wednesday meetings)
